As everyone knows Tom is coming over to the US of A doing promotion for Pirate Radio. There should be several interviews coming up so I’m going to try to put them all in one post, this one. So check back

Another interview!

‘I’m homeless,’ Tom Sturridge declares matter-of-factly as we order coffee in a cafe tucked away behind Brick Lane, east London. ‘In between filming I’ve been staying with friends, here and there. Plans change so quickly, it’s hard to know what I’m doing. Next week, I might be going to LA to see a friend, then New York. It’s all up in the air.’

Even dressed scruffily in jeans, a check shirt and black hoodie, which give credence to his claims to being of no fixed abode, Sturridge is arrestingly handsome, with piercing blue eyes, ivory skin, a chiselled jaw and a mop of thick dark hair that appears not to have seen a hairbrush for months.

Sitting atop a newspaper on our table is Sturridge’s little black book; not the digit directory of potential girlfriends but a private journal into which he writes stories and musings plucked from his imagination. ‘I write constantly, about everything,’ he enthuses. I don’t doubt that it would make a damn good read, as life is currently very exciting for him.

Spin 1038 Radio Interview with Nick Frost

Apparently Tom had the ‘best night of his life’ the night before this interview ;D He doesn’t talk much until about 3 or so minutes in.

“Not at all, I can’t talk to girls. I never know what to say.”

Are you worried about the Fame thing?
“I can still walk around without being recognised. And I never look at anything about myself online. I don’t know why anyone’s interested in me!”

How is your mate Rob Pattinson dealing with all the attention?
“I think you’d need to ask him.”

It must be nice to have a mate who’s an actor like you…
“I think it’s better to have friends who aren’t in the industry. If you go out with actor friends all the time, the conversation gets dull!”

We keep seeing pics of you and Rob in LA – Are you living there now?
“No, I’d miss the English weather!”

Tom Irish Radio Interview

Tom was in Ireland this morning with Chris O’Dowd doing a radio interview with Tony Fenton!

I’m sure their website will have it up soon but watching is much better than listening in my opinion!

They recorded the whole thing on video so enjoy! warning though, its not the best quality.
